Squash tension affects power, control and the size of your sweet spot:

  • Beginner / recreational: 20–24 lbs — bigger sweet spot, more power and forgiveness
  • Club / intermediate: 22–26 lbs — the most common range, balancing power and control
  • Advanced / competitive: 24–28 lbs — tighter control and sharper feel for precise hitters
